SATUKATA: Jurnal Sains, Teknik, dan Studi Kemasyarakatan (Journal of Science, Engineering, and Society) was established with the aim of providing a platform for publishing high-quality research in the fields of science, engineering, and social sciences. The journal was initially published monthly upon its inception.

Starting from Volume 2, Issue 1 (2024), the journal's publication frequency changed to every four months to accommodate the growing number of submissions and to ensure the quality and thorough peer review of each manuscript. This adjustment allows the journal to focus more on the academic rigor of its publications while maintaining its commitment to disseminating research findings in a timely manner.

The journal continues to evolve, with a focus on maintaining high standards of scholarly publishing and ensuring that all articles are freely accessible to researchers and practitioners worldwide.
