Author Fees

SATUKATA: Jurnal Sains, Teknik, dan Studi Kemasyarakatan (Journal of Science, Engineering, and Society) charges an author fee for the publication of articles. The fee is as follows:

  • Rp500.000 (Indonesian Rupiah) or approximately $35 USD for each accepted manuscript.

This fee helps to cover the administrative, editorial, and publishing costs associated with processing and making the article freely available through open access. The fee must be paid upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication.

1. Fee Waivers

  • Fee waivers may be granted on a case-by-case basis for authors from low-income countries or those who are unable to pay the fee. Authors wishing to apply for a fee waiver should contact the editorial team prior to submission.

2. Payment Method

  • Authors will receive payment instructions upon acceptance of their manuscript. Payments can be made through the available payment methods provided by the journal’s editorial team.
