Copyright and License

SATUKATA: Jurnal Sains, Teknik, dan Studi Kemasyarakatan (Journal of Science, Engineering, and Society) follows a clear Copyright and License Policy to protect the rights of authors while ensuring that published works are accessible to the global academic community.

1. Copyright

  • Upon acceptance of a manuscript, the copyright for the article is transferred to SATUKATA: Jurnal Sains, Teknik, dan Studi Kemasyarakatan.

  • Authors retain the right to use their own work for future research, teaching, or other non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution to the journal is given.

2. Creative Commons License (CC BY)

  • All articles published in SATUKATA are available under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This means:

4. Third-Party Material

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party material (e.g., images, data) included in the manuscript is properly licensed for use and that they have obtained necessary permissions for any copyrighted content used in their article.

5. No Exclusive License

  • SATUKATA does not request an exclusive license for the articles it publishes. Authors are free to submit the same work to other journals, conferences, or repositories, as long as the articles are not under simultaneous consideration for publication elsewhere.
