Transformasi Pembelajaran di Era Digital: Kajian Pustaka tentang Integrasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas dan Personalisasi Pendidikan

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven changes in educational processes, including through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve the quality and personalisation of learning. This article aims to analyse the role of AI in supporting a learning process that is more adaptive, effective and centred on learners’ needs. This study employs a literature review method, examining various academic articles, books and other documents. The findings indicate that AI can improve the quality of learning through the application of intelligent tutoring systems, learning analytics, automated assessment, the provision of real-time feedback, the development of learning materials, and support for learning planning and evaluation. In terms of personalisation, AI is capable of tailoring content, difficulty levels, learning pace, learning pathways, and recommendations for learning resources based on learners’ characteristics and progress. AI can also help educators identify learning difficulties and provide more targeted interventions. However, the implementation of AI faces challenges such as the protection of personal data, algorithmic bias, the digital divide, technological dependency, the validity of information, and the potential for a decline in learners’ cognitive engagement. Therefore, the integration of AI must be carried out ethically, inclusively and transparently, whilst continuing to place educators as the primary guides of the learning process. The use of AI based on pedagogical principles and human oversight has the potential to create an education system that is more flexible, adaptive, of high quality and tailored to the individual needs of learners.
