2. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process, where manuscripts are evaluated for their originality, relevance, and scientific merit. Reviews are conducted by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. The journal follows a double-blind review process, ensuring the anonymity of both authors and reviewers to maintain objectivity.

3. Ethical Standards

SIKONTAN upholds the highest ethical standards in publishing. Authors are expected to adhere to ethical guidelines for conducting and reporting research, particularly in areas involving human participants, animal subjects, and sensitive data. Submissions should comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant ethical approval requirements.

4. Originality and Plagiarism

Manuscripts submitted to SIKONTAN must be original and unpublished. Authors should ensure that their work does not contain plagiarized content, including text, data, or ideas. All submissions are checked for plagiarism using advanced software. Articles found to have significant plagiarism will be rejected, and appropriate actions will be taken.

6. Authorship

All authors listed on a manuscript must have contributed significantly to the research and writing of the article. The journal follows the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) guidelines for authorship, which includes substantial contributions to study design, data collection, analysis, writing, and final approval of the manuscript.

7. Submission and Revisions

Manuscripts should be submitted via our online submission system. Once submitted, the editorial team will assess whether the manuscript fits the scope of the journal. If it does, the manuscript will undergo peer review. Authors may be required to make revisions based on reviewer feedback. Authors must submit a revised manuscript along with a response to reviewers' comments.

8. Publication Ethics

SIKONTAN adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. The journal is committed to transparency, fair play, and accountability in all aspects of the publishing process. Any allegations of misconduct will be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate actions will be taken if necessary.

9. Copyright and Licensing

Upon acceptance, authors are required to transfer copyright to the journal, allowing SIKONTAN to publish and distribute the work. Authors will retain the right to use the work in their own future publications. The journal operates under an open-access policy, meaning all articles are freely available to readers under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.

10. Editorial Independence
