REDUKSI MISKONSEPSI PESERTA DIDIK TERHADAP MATA PELAJARAN AKIDAH PADA MATERI MACAM-MACAM IBADAH

Abstract
Reducing Students’ Misconceptions in the Subject of Aqidah on the Topic of Types of Worship in Grade 10 at Ibnu Katsir Senior High School for Girl, Berau This study aims to identify the types of misconceptions experienced bystudents, analyze the contributing factors, and explore effective teaching strategies to reduce misconceptions in the Aqidah subject. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques, with participants selected through total sampling. The subjects were 10th-grade students at Ibnu Katsir Senior High School for Girls in Berau. Data collection methods included observation, the Three-Tier Diagnostic Test, and documentation. The study utilized a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Results showed that the average misconception rate decreased from 22.8% in the pretest to 10.4% in the posttest, indicating a reduction of 12.3%. The hypothesis test yielded a two-tailed significance value of 0.029, which is less than the 0.05 significance level, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis and acceptance of the alternative. These findings suggest that the use of the conceptual change model significantly reduces students' misconceptions in the Aqidah subject.
