About the Journal
Journal of Islamic Economic Resources (JIER) is a scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and knowledge in the fields of Islamic economics, Islamic finance, and management of Islamic financial institutions. The journal serves as a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to publish scientific works, including empirical research, conceptual studies, case analyses, and critical discussions related to the development of Islamic economic thought and practice.
JIER is committed to contributing to the body of literature on Islamic economics by presenting high-quality and relevant articles that reflect contemporary issues, theoretical advancements, and practical applications within the discipline. The journal’s scope includes, but is not limited to: Islamic economic theory and public policy; Islamic banking and finance; Management of zakat, infak, sadaqah, and waqf; Islamic microeconomics and macroeconomics; Sharia-based business and entrepreneurship; Ethics and values in Islamic economics; and Halal industry and socio-economic development.

Journal of Islamic Economic Resources (JIER) is published twice a year, in June and December.
The first issue of the journal will be published in December 2025.
